What are my shipping options?

Standard: Usually 1-5 business days depending on your location.

  • Standard Ground Delivery usually arrives within 1 to 5 business days to most American cities
  • Delivery times to Alaska and Hawaii may vary.

At present, Mr. Costumes can only ship products within the 50 states. Mr. Costumes cannot fill or ship international orders.

How are my shipping costs calculated?
We estimate all of our shipping charges by weight, delivery / ship to locations and shipping methods. Actual shipping charges may apply.

Can I have an order delivered on a weekend?
Mr. Costumes does not currently provide for Saturday or Sunday deliveries.

When will my order be shipped?
Most orders are shipped in 1 business day.

If I place my order today, when will I receive it?
The time it will take for you to receive your order depends upon where you live and what shipping method you select. Most items ship out the same business day if ordered before 12 p.m. which means Standard Ground Delivery usually arrives within 1 to 5 business days to most American cities. You also have the option to expedite shipping with Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air Service. Please add the item to the cart and enter your zip code to show the actual shipping charges for each option.

What do I do if my order is late?
If the expected delivery time listed with your choice of shipping has expired, and tracking information does not help, please contact us immediately. Your order may be late because no one was available to accept delivery. If you are not present when a delivery is attempted, the carrier will make a second attempt, and often a third. If delivery is still not made, the shipment will be returned to our warehouse. You must report to us any undelivered order within 25 days of the date you placed the order.

What if my package is damaged when it is delivered?
If your package arrives damaged, you may refuse delivery at no cost to you. Please contact us immediately so that we can correct the situation as soon as possible.

Is online ordering safe & private?

Is online ordering really safe? What about those stories I've heard where credit card information was stolen?

If you don't see a product you're looking for, let us know (if by email, We may have it under a different industry name, and if not, we will do our best to track it down for you. How do I place an order?'s purchase process is secure and simple. Just follow these easy steps:

  • Enter applicable coupon codes
  • Select ship method
  • Go back to the cart to modify your order by clicking on "Edit Cart" button.
  • Modify your Billing and Shipping information by clicking on the appropriate link.
  • If you're ready to make your purchase, click on "Complete Checkout" button and you're done.

5. You'll proceed to the Order Thank you page. Here, you can:

  • View your order and the Order Confirmation Number it was given.
  • Review Shipping and Billing information.
  • Go to a Print Friendly version of the Order Summary, by selecting the appropriate link.
  • Email Customer Service if you have any concerns, by selecting the appropriate link.
  • Continue to shop.

*For added security, credit cards are encrypted within our system and screened thoroughly during the ordering process.

  • The "Bill To" address information must be on file with the issuing bank. If the Billing information does not match what the bank has on file, the order may be held for review.

If I'm not satisfied with a product, how do I return it?
There are two simple options.
  1. Save the need to call - Print the return authorization form straight from your account
    • Login to your account by clicking on "My Account" on the top right of
    • Select "Returns"
    • Print the RMA form, which includes Easy Return Instructions
    • Include the printed form inside the return box
    • You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs to return a non-defective product.
    • Save any tracking information
  2. Within 30 days of receiving your order, contact us and provide us with the following information:
    • Your order number
    • A very brief description of why you wish to return the product
    • How you would like to proceed - for example, would you like credit, or a different product?
    • A service professional will email you a return authorization form, and specific instructions to follow.
    • You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs to return a non-defective product.
    • Save any tracking information

What if the product is defective?
All products sold by are under the full manufacturer's warranty. Our goal is to correct the situation as quickly as possible. In rare instances, some manufacturers require direct contact to arrange returns or exchanges. In this event, we will provide any necessary contact and order information.

  • If you notify us of any defect within the first 30 days of receiving your order, we will gladly exchange your defective product for the same product title, provided there is still stock.
  • Keep all original packaging as you received it.

What if there is a discrepancy with the order? If you find any discrepancies with your order, please contact us right away .

Can I just send it back without contacting you?
No. We are here to help, but we can not correct a situation we know nothing about. Please contact us and one of our service professionals will contact you to work out a solution. We will reject products returned to us without authorization.

What else do I need to know about returning items?
After you receive a return authorization number, please be sure to do the following:

  • Ensure that the authorization number is clearly marked on the shipping box.
  • Products, whether defective or not, must be returned in the manufacturer's original packaging and the carton must include all components and other items originally packaged with the product. Linked promotional items must also be included.
  • There is a 15% re-stocking fee. Credits can take up to two weeks to process.
